Image File Types

- RAR. image file- "digital negative"- original, uncompressed, uneditable, usually unnecessary unless further changes need to be made,
   - additional adjustments made in menu before importing to different file type,

- .psd- photoshop document, for editing,
- .tiff- highest quality image, should always use, retains transparency settings,
- .jpeg- lose colour, no transparency, standard type,
- .gif- limited to 256 colours, for small animations, usually good for web use,
- .png- suitable for vectors, good for compression,
- .vpe vanishing point export, used for Photoshop to After Effects exports,

Vanishing Point


Filter > Vanishing point > make box as equal as possible > Blue=good, Yellow=okay > use create plane tool (C) to make into cube (keep in frame) > export for After Effects (arrow by selection) > save as .vpe > additional files saved

After Effects- import .vpe file > Insert camera
